Welcome to canuck.dnr.cornell.edu. This is my personal website, which I use to provide information concerning my teaching, research, and other activities.
I joined the Department of Natural Resources + the Environment in September of 1999. I am also a member of the graduate fields in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, and Risk Analysis, Communication & Policy. I'm also a Faculty Fellow in the Cornell Center for a Sustainable Future, and the Institute for Computational Sustainability.
By training I am an evolutionary ecologist who has done a bit of research over the years on applications of theoretical and quantitative methods to the management and conservation of natural resources. These days, I mostly teach, which I find more rewarding than most other things...
